Marci, p01

Page 01 of my newest project, a small comic called Marci. As well as telling a little story i've wanted to, it should hopefully get me beyond my pinup-no-background routine by making me work at drawing whole environments, just like this!

I may go back and tweak the colours when the other pages start to take shape, but for now- here ya go!

Traveling in Style, finished

Well the new inking plan... she did not work. I don't know why I thought it would! Anyway, it's back to the trusty pen for me (as you can see here after the first inch of brush-inking on the left hand side...)
I fell out of love with this about half way through, and fixed up her face a little in photoshop afterwards. I like the little cream tea though!

Traveling in style
